We want to explicitly acknowledge a few projects and communities that shaped openboa.
  • OpenClaw, for making agent runtime seams around providers, sessions, and execution boundaries feel concrete and practical.
  • Apache Kafka, for durable-log, replay, and idempotent messaging ideas that influenced the chat-core hardening direction.
  • Kubernetes and the broader cloud-native ecosystem, for reconciliation, bindings, scopes, and policy-oriented systems thinking.
openboa is its own system, but it learned a great deal from these projects and from the wider open-source agent and distributed systems communities.
