# Core Doctrine

# Core Doctrine

Core Doctrine is the highest-level decision baseline for openboa.
If roadmap, architecture, or implementation choices conflict with this page, this page wins.

## Core State

openboa solves the operational leverage gap that appears when turning ideas into sustained execution.

## Why This Matters

Ideas are abundant. Sustained execution is scarce.
openboa targets the system-level bottlenecks: continuity, coordination, and accountable delegation.

## Core Values

### 1) Execution Leverage First

openboa prioritizes operational leverage over feature volume.
The product succeeds when ideas become sustained execution with less operational friction.

### 2) Business as the Durable Operator

The Business is the durable operating subject.
People, agents, and tools can change, but Business continuity must remain.

### 3) Autonomy + Process

Autonomy drives performance.
Process drives durability.
openboa requires both to co-exist.

## Core Philosophy

1. We solve execution problems, not idea problems.
2. The durable operating subject is the Business.
3. Performance comes from autonomy; durability comes from process.

## Decision Tensions

When priorities conflict:

1. Preserve Business durability first.
2. Preserve accountable process second.
3. Maximize autonomy within those boundaries.

## Philosophy -> Spec

Read [System Contracts](./system-contracts.md) for the formal translation.

## Non-goals

Read [Sharp Non-goals](../help/non-goals.md) for explicit exclusions.
